Psychedelic-assisted treatment has become an increasingly common method of addressing mental health concerns and to seek spiritual growth both in the U.S. and in many nations across the globe. Join us as we learn with Mark Haberstroh, a licensed psychedelic minister, and Christian Brown, LCSW, CAADC.
This beginner-friendly workshop explores the history and therapeutic use of psychedelics in mental health treatment. It introduces key theories like Internal Family Systems and Attachment Theory as frameworks for psychedelic-assisted therapy. Participants will learn about different types of psychedelics, their uses, and limitations. The focus will be on adults with substance use histories, trauma, or resistance to traditional talk therapy or medications. The session includes psychoeducation and open dialogue.
Mark Haberstroh is a licensed psychedelic minister with the Congregation of Sacred Practices, specializing in psychedelic therapy and spiritual direction, with a focus on mental health and addiction. Christian Brown is a licensed clinical social worker, certified clinical supervisor, and substance use specialist in private practice in Georgia.
Pay What You Can Admission fees are available to all currently enrolled graduate students in a mental health or related field. We ask that you consider your financial need when selecting a rate for admission. Reserving the lowest rates for those in highest financial need allows us to continue offering accessible rates to everyone who is interested in learning.
